I am a counselling psychologist who holds a doctorate in counselling psychology, with chartered psychologist status with the British Psychological Society, and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Apart from working extensively in private practice, I have also worked in the NHS in an IAPT service, seeing a diverse range of clients. I specialise in perinatal psychology, both in my private work and through my NHS work. However, I also see clients from all walks of life with many different issues.
Further to this, I conduct trainings, predominantly in perinatal issues for organisations like Make Birth Better (birth trauma training) and SmartHealth, a GP led outfit that offers webinars for workplaces.
I also teach yearly lectures at the University of East London on perinatal issues and working with older adults.
Separate from seeing clients, I do some charity work. I write reports for asylum seekers through a charity call Asylum Aid, as well as facilitate a key worker group at a charity called Oasis.
